Organization Overview
ISACA, formally known as the Information Systems Audit and Control Association, is an international professional organization focused on information technology audit, control, and governance. It was founded in 1969, which hosts international conferences, publishes journal, and develops international IS auditing and control standards. ISACA also advances and legalizes IT skills and knowledge through the globally respected Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) designations. And we, the ISACA Student Group (HKUST), is dedicated to providing student members with networking opportunities and career assistance in the areas of information security, information assurance, IT risk management, IT audit, IT compliance, and information systems.
Our Mission
- To facilitate the communication and interaction with Information System audit professionals
- To raise the visibility of the ISACA Model Curriculum in HKUST
- To stimulate interest in information system auditing and provide career assistance for members
- To assist members with certification examination preparation
